Smile Your Way
Smile Your Way
SMILE! I count myself fortunate to have been encouraged to do this all my life. I consider smiling as one of the greatest lesson I was thought because all through life I have been able to smile to make friends, to move forward, to conquer fear, to brighten my day, to brighten someone else's day, to make things better.
YES, you heard this right smiling helps me to make things better, even the saddest, hardest, most fearful moments of my life have been made bearable and been made simple by a smile. NOTE that I didn't say they were solved or conquered by a smile. Life unfortunately is not that easy at times. There will be setbacks, discouragements, failures, sadness, sorrows and so on. The night always comes before the day. Just as Winter always comes before the Spring. All things are just for a moment. We learn to appreciate and value the good things in life much better after going through what we call tough days. When I think about this and smile I allow room for a new vision, a new perception, a new way. I take the first step from gloom to light. Oftentimes it is the first step that is the hardest because we think of complicated things, of something that will conquer the issue right away. But to smile, so many don't think of this easy and so simple way.
I want to encourage you to smile. Smile to appreciate yourself. Smile to honor the work/accomplishments you have so far. Smile to accept the lesson before you now. Smile because you are here and have what it takes to move forward.
Smiling helps has helped me so much in growing, learning, teaching and performing in all aspects of life. Here are some benefits to smiling. I'm not going to explain the reasons why because it is better that we reflect on them, see and realize the answer for ourselves. If you would like to hear more about some of them.
